Reporting Results After Election Night
Counting ballots and reporting results does not end on Election Night. All Vote by Mail ballots cast by Election Day and received within seven (7) days will be accepted, processed, and once verified, counted.
All Conditional Voter Registration (same-day registration) and Provisional Ballots cast on Election Day are processed and added to the tally once they are cleared.
View the post-Election Night ballot counting schedule to remain up-to-date on election results. The Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk is scheduled to certify election results on March 29, 2024.

Impact of Census and Citizens’ Redistricting Commission
- After the national census (conducted in 2020), the California Citizens’ Redistricting Commission updated district boundaries across the state
- Some voters may be in new Congressional, State Assembly, State Senate, and State Board of Equalizations districts
- Voters will see contests and candidates for their new district
