The fee is $34, however, there will be a small additional fee if the Notary Bond form does not comply with the existing recording law regarding form size and reservation of space. Effective December 1, 2008, the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's Office will begin collecting $7.00 for the filing a bond pursuant to Business and Profession Code § 22455. As a result, the Notary Oath and Bond registration fee will increase from $26.00 to $33.00. Effective December 15, 2008, the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office will begin assessing an additional $1 for each document submitted for recording pursuant to Government Code § 27397 (C) Subsection 1. Please increase the fee by $1.00 when submitting your document for recording to avoid rejection due to incorrect fees.
